Negri joins Roundup team

by Wyoming Livestock Roundup

Cody Negri, a Parma, Idaho native, joined the Wyoming Livestock Roundup team this week as livestock field services representative.

“I grew up on a family farm with my parents Mike and Barbara and a younger brother Robert,” says Negri. “As a family, we raised alfalfa hay and various types of livestock.”

“My hometown is a predominately agricultural community, so from a young age, I was always around agriculture and the people involved with it,” Negri says, noting he’s also passionate about rodeo and competition.

Negri was heavily involved in FFA and had his heart set on a career in the ag industry. He attended the University of Wyoming, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications and economics and a minor in ag business in the spring of 2018.

“I am excited for the opportunity to work for the Roundup,” Negri says. “I look forward to communicating with people in and around the ag community and finding ways to help them reach their highest potential, whether it be by increasing sales or getting the contacts they need.”

In his first six months, he adds, “I am looking forward to the opportunity to interact with people. I am excited to be a member of a team that has strong western roots and strives to work for the people it can serve.”

Negri can be reached by e-mail at cody@wylr.net or by calling 208-697-1093. He will serve producers primarily in Colorado, Nebraska and North and South Dakota.
