Wyo cattle top this year’s Western Nugget National Hereford Show
Reno, Nev. – The Western Nugget National Hereford Cattle Show and Sale was held Dec. 5-7 in Reno, Nev., and Wyoming producers came out with a number of top prizes during the event.
The event, complete with a junior show, female show and bull show, drew a wide crowd from across the country, all exhibiting high-quality Hereford cattle.
Tinley Pierson of Kaycee won the Champion Cow/Calf Pair in the Junior and Open Divisions with TP Lady Hard Drive 122. The pair was bred by Toby and Laura Pierson of Kaycee.
Champion Horned Bull went to C Stockman 2059 ET, bred by Colyer Herefords of Bruneau, Idaho and owned by Ned and Jan Ward of Sheridan, Colyer Herefords of Bruneau, Idaho and Pablo Martin Y Herrera of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Trey Stillahn of Stick and Stones Herefords in Cheyenne took the prize of Champion Intermediate Horned Bull with TS Top Notch 212. The bull was also bred by Stillahn.
