Leading Wyoming: Wyoming FFA elects new state officers

After two days of grueling interviews, nine FFA members were selected to serve as state officers for the 2013-2014 year.

The new officers include, from left to right, Treasurer Aleesha Gladson of the Gillette FFA, Reporter Lauren Hedges of the Casper FFA, Parliamentarian Tate Chamberlain of the Casper FFA, Sentinel Amori Erickson of the Star Valley FFA, Secretary Lindsey Utter of the Douglas FFA, Second Vice President Ty Carpenter of the Jim Bridger FFA, Vice President Mikayla McNamee of the Torrington Lingle FFA, Third Vice President William Wood of the Snowy Range FFA and President Brett Roth of the Cheyenne High Plains FFA.

The officers will lead the Wyoming FFA Association through all of its activities throughout the year, including Wyoming FFA Camp, the Wyoming State Fair, the annual FIRE and Chapter President’s Conferences, chapter visits and the annual State FFA Convention.
